Good Morning Rudy!!

Sam will get up every morning in a very good mood and she will be content with playing on the bed with the TV remote but once Rudy comes into the room there is no calming her down

we are standing and possing

Sam is now 8 1/2 months old and although she is crawling everywhere and I mean everywhere, she also loves to climb the stairs she also will walk around the couch and coffee table and anything she can grab to stand on. This past few weeks she started letting go when standing and will stand for a little while. Well this weekend she stood up all by herself holding on to nothing and will now stand for 1-2 minutes at a time, she is growing up so fast...

One step at a time...

...literally, Sam is obsessed with the two steps that lead up to the front door and no matter how many times you pick her up and move her she will be right back there in 2 seconds. She finally figured out how to get up the steps and there is no stopping her now...

Rudy was very anxious for her to get to the top of the stairs to which we all screamed "NO!!, not yet" LOL...

She is definatly going to give us a run for our money.

3... 2... 1... Explosion!!!

Sam got up at 5 this morning, her usual, I gave her a bottle and put her back in her crib since mom needed a few more minutes of sweet sleep, ususally I let her craw all over me in my bed while I try to watch the mornig news. I gave her a few toys and went back to bed, I heard her playing and talking and since she was in a good mood I kinda was dozing off, finally she was standing at her rail screaming at me to come get her, OK she was not really saying come get me but you know that "AHHHH!, BAABAA, MAAAUUM," in a really loud high pitched voice, so I get up and what do I find....

She EXPLODED her diaper all over, it was down her, leg up her back, the onesie was all dirty and wait it gets better it was on her bumper, her sheets, and all over her toys. WTF??? That's what I get for trying to get sleep, so needless to say I had a load to do this morning along with giving a baby a full on bath. Not what I wanted or needed at 6 a.m. But on a good note I'm glad she was not on my bed crawling all over me LOL...

I would share pics (yes Rudy took pics to show dad) but they are kinda gross and I myself don't want to re-live it.

Soy 'CHIVA' y que???

Finally Sam looks like a little 'CHIVA' girl. Mom and Big brother Tim spent a lot of time making these outfits and we have to say we are very proud of them. She has been sporting her new 'CHIVA' attire the last few Sundays and they have made quit the impression on other fans

Almost there...

So last night I'm about to fold clothes and i notice Sam is reaching for a toy and she got it, I thought did she just crawl, so i moved it again and this time I caught her yes she took 2 steps (or are they called crawls?) anyway I ran for the camera and put the toy a few feet away hoping to catch her but nope she got camera shy, but we are very close to getting there.

she is also doing this thing where she will get up on her toes and rotate her but the other direction so that she gets closer to the object even if it ends up behind her. She is one clever lady bug.
